The Women on the Water Regatta, sponsored by the Bellingham Yacht Club was another successful event! We had a fun, educational race around Eliza Island, where everyone got to steer the boat upwind and downwind, handle sails, read charts and learn a bit about racing strategy. Afterwards, we had a salmon dinner at the BYC, complete with prizes and raffle. Thanks to Kathy Holland and Steve Hayward, for making it a fantastic event and to my ladies, for joining me and making it such a fun day!
